About Neeley | Dedicated to Diversity
No longer an elite group of a few powerful people, today's business encompasses people of varying backgrounds. Neeley encourages enrollment of students of diverse backgrounds as a cornerstone to teamwork and leadership. Our small, private school setting means friendships are forged, ideas are heard and differences are celebrated instead of passed over. Our connection with impressive business leaders spans national borders, so you meet the right people for career opportunities. We make every effort to assure that our classrooms reflect the diversity of the real world of business.
As Neeley embraces diversity, so do our students. Neeley has an active relationship with each of the following local and national organizations:
Neeley has a strong relationship with the National Society of Hispanic MBAs . The organization's CEO, NSHMBA, Lourdes Hassler , is a graduate of Neeley's Executive MBA program. In 2005, Neeley initiated a scholarship program in recognition of the long partnership between Neeley and the DFW Chapter of the NSHMBA . Since 2005, we have funded more than $150,000 in scholarships to local NSHMBA members. Click here for information on the most recent recipients. Incidentally, Neeley was ranked in the Top 20 Best Business Schools for Hispanics by Hispanic Business magazine in 2007.
Another important partner in our diversity initiatives is the National Black MBA Association . Neeley awards scholarships through the NBMBAA, as well as taking a very active role in Career Fairs and Conferences. We also support the local chapter .
Neeley's student chapter of the National Association of Women MBAs is always looking for ways to build teamwork and connections, and to contribute to the school and the Fort Worth community. For the 2007-08 school year, the Neeley chapter participated in Habitat for Humanity. In the true spirit of inclusiveness, the Neeley NAWMBA chapter allows male MBA students to be members.
INROADS provides global corporations direct access to the best and brightest ethnically diverse talent, who historically have been under-represented in business and industry.
Texas Diversity Council
Neeley's Alumni Relations partners with the Texas Diversity Council at leadership symposiums in San Antonio, Austin, Houston and Dallas. The Texas Diversity Council is committed to fostering a learning environment for organizations to grow in their knowledge of diversity. The TXDC is a great opportunity for organizations to learn from some of the top corporate leaders in the area of diversity.
Neeley is a member of the 85 Broads network, a global community of over 17,000 talented and accomplished women at all stages of their lives and careers who use each other's intellectual and financial capital to effect change all over the world.
