Marketing | 45th Annual 2010 AMA Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium
Getting to the TCU Campus Dorms (and the Marriott Courtyard): TCU is approximately 45 minutes from DFW airport. There are several ways to get here from DFW.
- First, we have arranged for a bus (complimentary) to pick up people on the hour (every hour) starting at Noon and and with the last bus departing DFW at 6pm. The bus will be located on the curb outside Terminal C, Gate 19. There is no charge to take the bus to campus. However, there are 6 terminals at DFW airport, so you will need to take the DFW Airport Skylink (if you have NO checked luggage) or the Inter-terminal Link Bus (if you have checked baggage) from your arrival terminal to Terminal C to catch the bus. Depending on your arrival gate (how far you have to go to get to terminal C) and the time of your arrival (how long you wait for the next bus), it may take 1-2 hours to get to campus.
- A second alternative is to take “Super Shuttle”. You would need to contact them prior to your arrival to arrange pick up at your terminal. You can do this online at
http://www.yellowcheckershuttle.com/courtyarduniversityfortworth/go.html. The one-way cost is $22. Note that Super Shuttle may pick up other passengers and stop at several other locations prior to arriving at TCU.
- The third option is to take a taxi. The estimated fare is $40 - $50.
- For those of you staying at the Marriott, there will be shuttle service (on the hour and half hour) running to and from the Marriott and the TCU campus starting at 3pm on Wednesday, and 7am on the other days of the consortium.
Getting back to DFW on Sunday morning: We will be providing some transportation back to DFW from the TCU campus and the Marriott Courtyard on Sunday morning, June 6. The exact schedule will be determined by demand and announced at the consortium.
