Course Prerequisites

Open to all MBA and PMBA students in good standing who have completed BUSI 60050, required

Earns 3 hours credit

Class limit: 18

Learn the real ins and outs of Chilean business from senior execs at local companies and multinational firms, and zip, raft and climb your way across the region. Pre-trip classes on campus. Then travel to Chile to explore cultural sites and businesses pertaining to communications, packaged goods, financial services, mining, tourism and viticulture in Chile.

Santiago, Pucón, Valparasio, and Viña del Mar, Chile, South America

Itinerary
1/6: You must be in Santiago by the morning of the 6th. We will fly to Pucon in the afternoon.
1/7-1/8: Pucon (on the afternoon of the 8th we will fly back to Santiago)
1/9-1/11: Company visits in Santiago
1/12: Adventures at Cascada de Las Animas
1/13: Visit Valparaiso and Vina del Mar. At the end of the day’s tour the bus will return to the Santiago airport for the return flight.
1/14: Arrive DFW

Cost
$750 for a student's first study abroad trip.  Total fee is $2,400, minus $1,650 covered by the Neeley Graduate Program office.

  • Included: Textbooks and materials, hotel accommodations (2 students per room), transportation within country, welcome and farewell dinners.
  • Not included: TCU tuition, airfare to and from Chile, airport taxes, passports or tourist visas, meals and personal expenses.
  • Guest fee: $2,400
  • Second trip for TCU MBA student: $2,400

Travel Arrangements
Students should not purchase flight tickets or make other irrevocable travel arrangements until they have received communication from the faculty member(s) leading the trip.

Registration and Payment
Class is filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Full payment of $750 via credit card is required at the time of registration
