PMBA 2013

Deciding factor:
I chose TCU’s Neeley School of Business because of its strong reputation. After hearing so many good things about the PMBA program from my coworkers, I wanted to experience it firsthand.

Particular strength:
The small class size makes it easier to interact with the professors and fellow PMBA students, and to really learn from their experiences. Another great plus - the many opportunities for networking on and off campus!

Significant experience:
A highlight for me was travelling in a group trip with fellow TCU MBAs to visit Warren Buffett and his holding companies in Omaha, Nebraska. We interacted with Mr. Buffett in a Q&A session at Berkshire Hathaway’s headquarters, dined with him at his favorite restaurant, and posed for pictures with him after lunch.

Big picture:
The program has already given me a different perspective at work. I was recently in a meeting that revolved around the topic of activity-based costing, and could actively participate thanks to my course in Accounting for Managerial Planning and Control.
