A summer internship in another country will help develop your professional skills, communicate across cultures and earn impressive work experience to jump-start your career in today’s competitive job market. As a Neeley Global Intern Scholar, you will be guaranteed a 32-hour unpaid internship with a local business or organization in either Dublin, Ireland, or Sydney, Australia, nearby apartment included. IES Abroad, our partner organization, will work with you to find the closest match between your professional abilities and personal interests. You’ll interact with interns from other universities and take part in cultural awareness and professional development workshops.

Prerequisites: Internships are only available to TCU Neeley business majors or pre-business majors with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and graduation date of December 2018 through May 2020.

Class Limit: Internships are limited to the first 20 students approved by the Alcon Career Center and BBA office.

Deposit: A non-refundable $500 deposit is due by November 30, 2017, for early/priority registration, or by January 26, 2018, for final registration. The deposit is part of the total fee for the program. The rest of the fee is due in full by February 9, 2018.

Scholarship: Two scholarships are available, through TCU Neeley and through our partner, IES Abroad.

Ireland Students

Experience this city’s vibrant business environment that has emerged as part of Ireland’s economic recovery. Walk to work through Dublin’s historic streets or take a double-decker bus, the tram, Dart or Metro. Linger over a lunch of shepherd’s pie or Irish salmon.

Fees: Cost is $6,640 and includes deposit, accommodations, placement services, 3 credit hours of TCU tuition, health insurance, pre-departure materials, on-site orientation, on-site 24-hour staff support, emergency response services, planned interaction with interns from other universities, weekly cultural awareness and professional development workshops. Not included: Passport fees, airfare to and from Ireland, food, personal spending money and excursions.
