Neeley Entrepreneurship Center

Every student holds the potential to be an entrepreneur and a leader, and thus a catalyst for change. Our primary objective is that each student, through our courses, field experiences, programs and initiatives, honors his/her own entrepreneurial journey by developing into an ethical leader endowed with an entrepreneurial mind-set and entrepreneurial skills. We welcome students from across campus and all study disciplines.

We help students develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to recognize opportunity. We emphasize the courage to act, persistence, and the willingness to take risks.

An entrepreneurial leader inspires stakeholders through meaning, ethical behavior, example, and authenticity. We emphasize trust, humility, drive, optimism, psychological engagement, consciousness, and work-life balance.

We begin with strategic planning, decision making, and obtaining results in an ethical way. We emphasize accountability and accepting responsibility for one’s actions.
