TCU High School Investor Challenge

Are you a high school student entering your senior year? Do you want to learn more about the bulls and bears of the Stock Market? Then we invite you to apply for the TCU High School Investor Challenge.

There are three parts to the challenge:

  1.  A Week On The TCU Campus – You’ll spend a week with dozens of other students the summer before your senior year of high school, living in dorms and taking finance classes at the Neeley School of Business at TCU.
  2. Manage a $100,000 Virtual Portfolio – Throughout the fall and spring, you’ll submit stock trades online via TCU's e-college. Professional stock brokers will analyze your choices and help you with your stock picks.
  3. Spring Banquet – You’ll return to TCU in the spring to present your results to your fellow students, family, and professors at TCU.

Mark your calendar! The 2012-13 High School Investor Challenge will begin June 10-15, 2012. Application must be postmarked by April 9, 2012.

HSIC Student“I had a very good experience in the High School Investor Challenge. I started the program with little knowledge of the stock market, and left not only as the winner of the challenge, but learning how the stock market operates and how people can invest in so many different ways.”
