TCU Corporate Governance Conference
Theory Meets Practice
June 12-13, 2020

ban new building

The TCU Neeley School of Business is hosting a new conference on June 12-13, 2020:
“Corporate Governance: Theory Meets Practice.”

Purpose: To generate a meaningful dialogue between the top corporate governance scholars from around the world and the directors, executives, and other governance professionals putting theory into practice every day.

Programming: We will showcase cutting-edge research with the greatest relevance to practice, and involve corporate leaders in the process of shaping new research questions. The conference will consist of an opening reception on June 12, followed by the main festivities—a research showcase, breakout discussions, a keynote address, and a closing reception—on June 13. Throughout the day, we will be enjoying the full array of facilities offered in the brand new Spencer and Marlene Hays Business Commons.

Why Participate? This will be a rare opportunity for corporate leaders interested in joining the global conversation around best practices in corporate governance. Spend the day discussing the big issues in corporate governance with some of the leading minds studying them.

Our goal: For all participants—scholars and professionals alike—to leave with a better understanding of what we still need to learn.

Less presentation, more conversation!
