How It Started
TCU EIF is one of the longest and most successful funds run exclusively by students. It was establish in 1973 with a donation of Alcon common shares by Alcon Laboratories co-founder William C. Conner.
Who It Benefits
Nearly $3 million has been distributed to TCU EIF’s two beneficiaries as chosen by Mr. Conner: Texas Christian University and the Department of Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
How to Apply
Admission to the TCU EIF is highly competitive and based on applications and interviews. Undergraduates apply in their junior year and if selected take the course during their senior year. MBAs apply during their first year and take the course during their second year if selected. Apply here.
