Dr. Charles R. “Bob” Greer was awarded the 2009 Dean’s Research or Creativity Award at TCU’s Fall Commencement on December 19, 2009. Greer, one of only three recipients of the university-wide award, is chair of the Management Department at the Neeley School of Business at TCU, where he has taught for 20 years. In June 2008, Greer was awarded the M. J. Neeley Professor of Management, which rewards and recognizes a faculty member who has the highest standards in both teaching and research.

Greer Bob “Bob has a truly admirable record of scholarly accomplishment with approximately 50 refereed journal articles, including numerous publications in premier journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Organization Science, Journal of International Business Studies, Industrial Relations, and the Sloan Management Review,” said O. Homer Erekson, John V. Roach Dean of the Neeley School of Business.

One of the external reviewers for the award commented: “In terms of quality, Bob’s research is a model for others to follow. Bob’s publication record would place him among an elite group of productive and influential management scholars.”
