Denver Alumni Invited to Event Hosted by Neeley School of Business at TCU

Horned Frog alumni who live in Denver are invited to a networking breakfast Wednesday, April 13, 7:30-8:45 am, at the Denver Athletic Club. The breakfast will be hosted by O. Homer Erekson, John V. Roach Dean of the Neeley School of Business at TCU, and feature Neeley Alumni Professor of the Year Dr. Robert Vigeland.

Dr. Vigeland will speak on “Politics and Accounting: Strange Bedfellows.” Cost is $15 and includes breakfast and the presentation. RSVP to www.froglinks.com.

Neeley School alumni began the Neeley Alumni Professor of the Year award in 2006 to honor outstanding business school faculty. Vigeland teaches financial reporting and analysis, financial statement analysis, contemporary issues in accounting, intermediate financial accounting, and advanced accounting. He enjoys working with bright students who are actively engaged in his courses and interested in the subject matter. Vigeland has won numerous teaching awards, including six times as Mortar Board Preferred Professor, College of Business Administration Outstanding Teacher in 1978, and the Neeley School Distinguished Teaching Award in 2004. He serves on the Board of Director for the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
