Dr. George Low Named Associate Dean for Undergraduate and International Programs

Low George fullDr. George Low has been named associate dean for undergraduate and international programs at the Neeley School of Business at TCU. Low, associate professor of marketing, came to the Neeley School in 1996. He holds a Ph.D. in business administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder, MBA from the University of Western Ontario, and B.A. from Brigham Young University.

Low served as chair of the marketing department at the Neeley School for four years, where he led the redesign of undergraduate and graduate course offerings and hired several faculty members. He has served on the TCU faculty senate, TCU undergraduate curriculum committee, and chaired a dean’s search committee. 

Low is serving as a fellow for the American Council on Education for the academic year 2011-12 at the University of Texas at Arlington. The program builds identifies and prepares promising senior faculty and administrators for responsible positions in college and university administration. Low was nominated by Chancellor Victor Boschini and selected as one of 50 ACE Fellows from a national competition.

“George’s ACE fellowship has given him the opportunity to visit many campuses, work closely with the president and other academic leaders at the University of Texas at Arlington, and explore important topics with other ACE Fellows, including globalization, diversity, fundraising, managing change and governance,” said O. Homer Erekson, John v. Roach Dean of the Neeley School of Business at TCU.
