Neeley Business Professors Honored at TCU Graduation

Two faculty members from the Neeley School of Business were honored with Dean's Awards at the TCU commencement ceremony held December 17, 2005.

Bill Moncrief, Senior Associate Dean and Professor of International Business, received the Dean's Award for Research, for producing significant, high quality research recognized nationally and/or internationally. Five of Dr. Moncrief's research papers have been published in recent years, including: "A Contemporary Taxonomy of Sales Positions," Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, Winter 2006 Edition.

Finance Professor Larry Lockwood received the Dean's Award for Teaching, based upon his dedication to teaching and advising, sponsorship of student organizations and teaching innovations. Dr. Lockwood teaches Securities Analysis, Portfolio Management, and the Educational Investment Fund, which has a portfolio of $1.5 million managed solely by business students.

"I am proud to be Provost at a University that provides colleagues like this year's winners, who define what is best in our academic community" said Nowell Donovan, Provost and Vice Chairman for Academic Affairs at TCU.

"I couldn't agree more," says Daniel Short, Dean of the Neeley School of Business. "I congratulate Drs. Moncrief and Lockwood for the outstanding work they do to make this a great environment for our students, staff and faculty."
