Neeley MBA Lauren Stephens To Appear on CNBC Friday Night

Lauren not only passed the test, she got an enthusiastic "A" from Dylan Ratigan and the other hosts of "Fast Money", CNBC's prime time show on Friday, June 8 at 7:00 p.m. CST.

Lauren represented the Neeley School of Business in the fast-paced competition. In 30 seconds, Lauren coolly rattled off her erudite recommendations for stock trading in a mock situation the show had given her to test her prowess.  The show's panel of experts then graded her on her answers, giving her an "A" and telling Wall Street to "give that girl a job."

Three students from other business school also competed on the show.

"She had really good material," said Stan Block, finance professor and holder of the Stan Block Endowed Chair in Finance. Block is also one of the directors of the Educational Investment Fund at Neeley, of which Lauren is a member. Lauren asked him to listen to her answers prior to the show. "She was dynamite," he said.

CNBC says of "Fast Money": Faster than a New York minute, Dylan Ratigan and the "Fast Money" traders give you the information normally reserved for the Wall Street trading floor, enabling you to make decisions that can make you money. The "Fast Money" five gives you the news, as only the savviest traders can, with an angle that you won't see until tomorrow's papers.
