Neeley Ranks High in Entrepreneurship, Finance, Corporate Strategy and Marketing

in Bloomberg Businessweek Undergrad Rankings

In Bloomberg Businessweek's 2013 ranking of the best undergraduate business programs in the U.S. by specialty, the Neeley School of Business at TCU ranks No. 6 in Entrepreneurship, 13 in Finance, 17 in Corporate Strategy and 19 in Marketing, out of 123 business schools across the nation. Overall, the Neeley School is No. 28 out of 145 U.S. undergraduate business programs ranked by Bloomberg Businessweek.

The undergraduate business specialty ranking also depicts the percentage of students reporting internships, with 84.35 percent of TCU undergraduate business students securing internships, according to survey responses. The average percentage of internships among the ranked schools is 72.81 percent.

As part of the 2013 Best Undergraduate B-Schools ranking, Bloomberg Businessweek surveyed 85,000 undergraduate business students from the Class of 2013 (27,562 responded) about their business school experience. The specialty ranking is based on those students’ responses, rating their program’s offerings in 14 areas. “These impressive national rankings for our specific undergraduate business majors show that Neeley School students put our academic programs among the elite in the country,” said George Low, associate dean of undergraduate programs.

Students ranked Neeley No. 5 overall in the student survey, and gave Neeley A+ in Job Placement, Teaching Quality and Facilities/Services.
