RHODES NAMED NEW DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS

Neeley has selected Rob Rhodes, associate professor of professional practice/business law, as the new Director of International Programs.

International initiatives have grown substantially at Neeley, which recently received the 2007 Mayor's Global Business Award. Neeley's MBA curriculum offers study abroad programs in Chile, China, India, Germany and Italy. The Executive MBA curriculum emphasizes trips to China, Germany and England.  Undergraduate students can take advantage of study abroad trips to Chile, China, Europe (Germany, France, and Spain) and Great Britain.

The depth and breadth of the Neeley international experiences calls for a leader to provide direction and consistency across the program.

"Rob has been leading international programs for well over a decade and has a strong interest in International Education," said Bill Moncrief, senior associate dean for undergraduate studies. "He will take on these new duties and also continue to perform his excellence in the classroom."

Rhodes' expertise includes European union law, international business transactions, cyberspace law and most other aspects of business law in the U.S. He holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Baylor and a Master of Laws from Tulane.
