ROSS PEROT JR. TO SPEAK AT TCU BUSINESS BREAKFAST DECEMBER 5TH

   

Ross Perot Jr., chairman and founder of Hillwood Development Corp., will be the featured speaker at the Neeley School of Business' Tandy Executive Speaker Series on Tuesday, December 5.

The Tandy Executive Speaker Series is a community outreach program offered by the Neeley School of Business at TCU to develop and disseminate leading-edge thought in order to improve the practice of business. 

Ross Perot Jr. founded Hillwood Development Corporation in 1988. The company is ranked among the top ten developers in the United States by National Real Estate Investor and Dallas Business Journal, and recognized for high-profile projects and public-private ventures. Two of Hillwood's largest projects are AllianceTexas, a 17,000-acre development northwest of DFW International Airport, and Victory Park, a 72-acre development in downtown Dallas that includes the American Airlines Center, condos, restaurants, shops, bars and the new 251-room luxurious W Hotel featuring the famed Ghostbar on the top floor.

A former Air Force reservist and record-setting helicopter pilot, Perot chaired the foundation behind the U. S. Air Force Memorial, dedicated in October.

Separately, Perot is Chairman of the Board of Perot Systems Corporation, a multi-billion dollar global technology company that provides business consulting, business process outsourcing, application solutions and IT infrastructure services to companies in a wide variety of industries including the home building and engineering & construction segments. Headquartered in Plano, TX, a suburb of Dallas, Perot Systems has operations and more than 18,000 associates around the world.  Named chairman in September 2004, Perot spent the previous four years as the company's president and CEO and has served on the Perot Systems Board of Directors since its founding in 1988.

A native of Dallas, Perot graduated from St. Mark's School in 1977, then earned his bachelors degree in business administration from Vanderbilt University in 1981.
