TCU BUSINESS NETWORK OF HOUSTON WILL FEATURE KBR CEO BILL UTT OTCOBER 20

Bill Utt, President and CEO of KBR, a leading global engineering, construction and services company, will be the featured speaker at the TCU Business Network of Houston on Tuesday, October 20, 2009, 7:00-9:30 am, at the Junior League of Houston. The event is presented by the Neeley School of Business at TCU and the TCU Alumni Association for TCU MBA and BBA alumni, friends, family, and the Houston business community. The breakfast will be hosted by O. Homer Erekson, John V. Roach Dean of the Neeley School of Business at TCU in Fort Worth.

William P. "Bill" Utt was named President and Chief Executive Officer of KBR, effective March 15, 2006. He was named Chairman in April 2007. KBR is a global engineering, construction and services company supporting the energy, petrochemicals, government services and civil infrastructure sectors. Previously, Mr. Utt was President and CEO of SUEZ Energy North America. From 1995-2000,he was president and CEO of Tractebel's North American energy businesses. From 1984 to 1995, he held senior management and executive positions with CRSS, Inc.  Mr. Utt holds bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from The Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. He serves on the National Petroleum Council.

Cost to attend the TCU Business Network of Dallas event is $20 per person for TCU alumni, parents and friends. TCU young alumni, those who graduated between 1999 and 2009, can attend for $15 per person.
