Garry Bruton is 30th Most Cited Business Professor in the World
Dr. Bruton, professor of management, entrepreneurship and leadership, has been recognized as the 30thmost cited author in the world according to academic citations in business journals based on Reuters data for the last five years. Bruton’s research focuses on entrepreneurship in emerging economies. He has published or has forthcoming more than 100 academic articles in leading journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of International Business Studies and Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice. He has co-authored three textbooks: Small Business Management(McGraw-Hill), Technology and Innovation Management (Cengage), and International Management (Cengage).

Ray Smilor Named a Top 25 Entrepreneurship Professor in the Nation
Dr. Smilor, the Robert and Edith Schumacher Executive Faculty Fellow in Innovation and Technology, was honored as one of the top 25 entrepreneurship professors in the U.S. by 3 Day Startup, a company that kickstarts new student-run companies. The list of prestigious educators is based on votes by students, alumni, faculty and entrepreneurs who supplied details on why their nominated professor is effective in entrepreneurship education. Smilor is a nationally recognized expert, motivational speaker and lecturer on entrepreneurship. 

Robert Leone is 28th Among Marketing Professors in the World for Author Productivity
Dr. Leone, the J. Vaughn and Evelyne H. Wilson Chair in Marketing, is tied for No. 28 in the world for the number of research articles published in the American Marketing Association's premier journals over the past five years. Leone has published four articles in the Journal of Marketing and Journal of Marketing Research since 2010.

TCU Teaching Honors for Garry Bruton and Rob Rhodes 
Two Neeley School faculty members were honored with TCU’s highest awards at December commencement. Garry Bruton, entrepreneurship professor, received the Dean’s Research and Creativity Award. Rob Rhodes, professor of professional practice in business law, received the Dean’s Teaching Award.

Each December, TCU Executive MBA students graduate from the 16-month program. As part of their hooding ceremony and recognition breakfast, the students choose an outstanding faculty member. This year they honored Rob Rhodes.
