The TCU Neeley School of Business continues its upward momentum among the world’s leading entrepreneurship programs. In the newly released 2026 Poets&Quants ranking of the World’s Best MBA Programs for Entrepreneurship, Neeley is ranked No. 23 globally – an increase of two spots since last year -, and No. 2 in Texas.
“The recognition of TCU Neeley in the 2026 Poets&Quants ranking reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence in entrepreneurship and innovation,” said Will Drover, chair for Neeley’s Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and an associate professor. “Our students learn from faculty who are not only outstanding educators, but also leaders and researchers in their fields. They bring real-world insights and expertise into the classroom, inspiring our students to take risks, apply their learning, and turn ideas into action.”
Neeley’s continued momentum is reflected broadly across national rankings and awards. The TCU Entrepreneurship Program is comprised of the department and institute, both of which collaborate to provide a dynamic integration of research and practical application. Earlier this year, the program’s achievements were recognized by the United State Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE) with the award of the 2025 National Model Program Award for Large Institutions.
The honor highlights the strategic collaborative approach of connecting industry, faculty research and rigorous classroom instruction for more than 25 years at TCU Neeley. The program previously received the National Model Program Award in 2011.

This fall, in the Bloomberg Businessweek ranking of full-time MBA programs, TCU ranked No. 1 in Texas for entrepreneurship. Last year, the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at TCU was presented with the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC) Nasdaq Center of Entrepreneurial Excellence Award. This national honor is the highest recognition that a university entrepreneurship center or institute can receive. The award honors centers that have made and are expected to continue making contributions in advancing entrepreneurship and driving economic growth, according to the GCEC.
These results highlight the strength of Neeley’s entrepreneurship and innovation programs, which continue to expand opportunities for students through high-impact, real-world learning. Innovative initiatives such as the Horned Frog Investment Network and CREATE powered by the Shaddock Seed Fund, equip students with the tools to immediately apply classroom knowledge, launch ventures and shape the future of business.
“Our students graduate with hands-on knowledge, having already made tangible impacts in the business world,” said Rodney D’Souza, executive director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Davis Family Entrepreneur in Residence. “This theory-applied approach, combined with the unparalleled strength of our partnerships and alumni network, ensures that our graduates are primed to positively impact the industry.”
