And she’s good at it. Kim holds an Accreditation in Public Relations, a prestigious National PRSA Bronze Anvil Award, and was named one of the Fort Worth Business Press’ Who’s Who in Tarrant County from 2000-2002.

Kim originally earned her BS in journalism from TCU, but she truly became familiar with the Neeley Executive MBA program while managing the account at Balcom Agency. As she built marketing messages based on the testimonials of students and alumni, she soon became inspired to enroll. It seemed like the perfect time in her life for it.

Until three months into the program, when she received some frightening news.

In the end, Kim conquered more than cancer. She graduated as valedictorian as well as Top Neeley Scholar, Outstanding Student and Outstanding Class Member.
