Our Transaction and Investment Professionals (TIP) Board Program guides students through résumé writing, interview preparation, internship and career opportunities, and career planning within the world of transaction and related industries.

Since the founding of the Transaction and Investment Professionals Board in 2014, the average annual student placement has tripled.

Apply

The Transaction and Investment Professionals (TIP) Board offers mentoring for select TCU finance majors. Mentors have high expectations of all students accepted. Ensure you meet the following requirements.
 

How to Apply

  • A résumé must be submitted with the application. You must use the format provided in this template.
  • Applicants selected for interviews will be notified. 
  • Information sessions regarding TIP programming, eligibility and applications will be held in the spring semester for those planning to graduate in December 2028 or May 2029. Keep an eye on Handshake for the dates of these info sessions.

 

  • Graduation date of December 2028 or May 2029
  • 3.6 cumulative GPA is required for consideration (but does not guarantee admittance).
  • In good standing with TCU and the Neeley School of Business when applying and through graduation.

  • Act in good faith to the objectives of the mentors.
  • Commit to regular dialogue with mentors.
  • Respond within 24 hours of initial mentor communication.
  • Schedule monthly status update calls with junior and senior mentors.
  • Commit to the preparation needed to obtain an upper-level finance internship.
  • Commit to join the board after graduation if invited.
  • The mentors may remove a participant at any time if not meeting expectations.
