Mike Howard has been Chairman and CEO of privately held Howard Midstream Energy Partners, LLC (www.howardenergypartners.com) since founding it fourteen years ago and has built it into a diversified, multibillion-dollar midstream energy company operating in four states and Mexico. Mike was formerly President of Midstream for the largest division of a Fortune 100 energy company and held various management positions in publicly traded energy companies throughout his career. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of HEP, Atlas Energy Solutions (NYSE: AESI) and Jonah Energy LLC. Active in the community, Mike also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Foundation, the United Way of Bexar County, the San Antonio Academy, Energy Corps and many other civic organizations. Mike lives in San Antonio, Texas with his wife and three children.

Gary W. Hines is an experienced executive and leader with a career spanning over 15 years in energy pipeline transportation and 13 years in association management. His ability to drive operational excellence, foster strategic partnerships, and enhance organizational performance has earned him a reputation as a transformational leader.

As Executive Vice President at Switch Energy Alliance (SEA), Gary leads the organization’s operations to ensure a positive, impactful, and productive culture. In partnership with the CEO, Board, and SEA team, he has oversight for strategic planning, program development, budgeting, stakeholder engagement, and staff development. Key initiatives include the deployment of a professional development program and the cultivation of strong external partnerships to amplify SEA's impact.

Gary's early career was rooted in engineering and operations leadership within the energy sector, including roles at Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline and Williams Companies. In these positions, he led critical projects in pipeline operations, environmental remediation, and compliance, demonstrating strong technical expertise and operational leadership.

As a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and Professional Engineer (PE), Gary is committed to advancing industries through innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. His contributions extend to board service, strategic planning, and fostering industry-wide best practices.
