New Leadership Roles Take Shape Across Neeley's Existing and Emerging Initiatives

Updates across artificial intelligence, leadership development, executive engagement, community partnerships and graduate programs strengthen student-centered priorities and industry connection at Neeley.

The Neeley School of Business continues to strengthen its leadership and innovation through new roles and expanded responsibilities across undergraduate student programs, artificial intelligence, community engagement and graduate programs. These changes bring added focus, experience and industry perspective to initiatives that support student growth, applied learning and emerging areas of business.

Neeley AI Forward
With the January announcement of the AI Forward Initiative to coordinate and lead the school’s engagement with artificial intelligence, Associate Professor and Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department Chair Will Drover was selected to lead the initiative and serve as advisor to the dean for AI and digital innovation. Drover brings deep scholarly and practical expertise, teaching AI in Neeley’s MBA and executive programs, publishing AI adoption research featured in MIT Sloan Management Review and The Wall Street Journal, and building and investing in AI, technology and robotics ventures.

BNSF Neeley Leadership Program
Kim Cook steps into the role of academic director for the BNSF Neeley Leadership Program and the Neeley Leadership Minor, providing oversight for curriculum development, student selection, mentoring and long-term program strategy. She brings extensive experience in leadership education and program design and played a key role in creating Neeley’s Leadership Minor.

Suhail Johnson serves as director of the BNSF Neeley Leadership Program, leading its strategic vision and daily operations. She brings experience in leadership development, organizational learning and student success and previously served as a learning and engagement consultant at TCU, designing university-wide leadership initiatives and coaching programs.

Neeley Executive-in-Residence
Ryan Luckey is the newest endowed Executive-in-Residence in Neeley, and he brings more than two decades of experience at the intersection of marketing, sponsorship and business growth. A managing partner at Arluck Advisors, Luckey has held senior leadership roles at Goldman Sachs, AT&T and Molson Coors and brings expertise in building and activating strategic partnerships that drive both commercial and community impact.

Community Engagement
With the launch of the Community Engagement team this fall, Neeley strengthens its connection to corporate and community partners through two new leadership roles. Carrie Kemmer serves as director of corporate engagement, bringing more than 20 years of experience across the classroom and industry, including prior roles as a faculty member and center director at Neeley.

David Stein serves as director of community impact, drawing on his background in graduate program admissions and his commitment to student success to advance partnerships that support academic and career outcomes.

Graduate Programs
Whitney Dennis joined Neeley in December as the director of graduate recruiting and admissions, bringing more than 18 years of admissions experience and nearly a decade of senior leadership. She previously served as director of graduate and global recruitment at Texas Wesleyan University and brings expertise in building strong pipelines and enhancing the prospective student experience
