Join undergraduate and graduate students from the top schools in the nation. Apply your analytic skills and energy expertise to a current business challenge at the fourth annual NAPE/TCU Energy Innovation Case Competition.

Total of $40,000 in cash prizes (the largest total cash prize for a case competition) for the top three undergraduate and top three graduate teams.

February 7, 2024 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.   Teams present live at the NAPE Summit in Houston, Texas
    reception to follow
February 8, 2024 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Top 3 teams present live on the NAPE Summit Expo floor

2024 Business Case

In light of recent “mega-mergers” in the Exploration & Production sector of the oil & gas industry, this year’s NAPE Case Competition will center around the pros & cons of upstream consolidation. Teams will research the impact of M&As on stakeholders, domestic economic growth, energy consumers and the energy transition already underway.

Teams

Universities have the option to choose two teams of four; one composed of undergraduate students and one composed of graduate students to showcase their talent and energy knowledge.
