Access Initiatives
TCU Accelerated Career Awareness Program
TCU ACAP is a free, one-week, on-campus summer program for high school students from underrepresented groups to learn more about degrees and careers in accounting and finance. We partner with NABA Inc. to bring the Accelerated Career Awareness Program to Fort Worth on the TCU campus to bridge the opportunity gap for minority high school students. Students stay in dorms and attend classes on careers in accounting and business, personal development and college preparation.
Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber for MBA Scholarships
We partner with the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to provide annual scholarships to FWHCC members to help multicultural professionals obtain a full-time MBA degree at TCU. Each scholarship covers full tuition and all fees for the full-time TCU MBA program, and the cost of a two-year membership in the FWHCC.
Antonio Banos and Rodney D'Souza Scholarship
Two of our entrepreneurship professors provide this need-based scholarship for entrepreneurial-minded TCU students not majoring in business and/or who are minoring in entrepreneurship. Priority is given to first-generation college students and/or students who have demonstrated experience in or commitment to working with historically underserved or marginalized populations.
Microsoft Office Certification Funding
Microsoft Office certification is required for all TCU Neeley business majors, to make you even more valuable in the job market. But not everyone can afford the cost. Against All Odds: Stories of Grit and Determination
As the first of its kind at TCU Neeley, this speaker series provides a platform for sharing candid, diverse career insight aimed at equipping our students as confident leaders ready to meet and overcome obstacles in the evolving global workforce; and broadening the perspectives of our university and extended community.
Leading a Diverse Workforce
In this undergraduate course, you’ll learn to effectively understand and negotiate the multiple dynamics that emerge from difference, and to appropriately respond to issues of marginalization and social injustice in the workplace. You’ll engage in difficult conversations as you study cases that stimulate your awareness of real-world issues, to develop the skills you need to mediate or resolve diversity issues as a future professional.
Courageous Conversations Book Study
All Neeley students, faculty and staff are invited to participate. Over four weeks we will read and discuss a book designed to foster understanding and belonging across differences.

Mentoring and Career Development
JPMorgan Chase Inclusive Excellence Mentoring Program
Our 10-week mentoring program connects historically underrepresented students with professional and peer leaders in the TCU Neeley community. Undergraduate students are matched with mentors to help guide their leadership and career development.
Graduate Career Networks
The TCU Neeley Graduate Career Center partners with the National Black MBA Association and the National Association of Women MBAs to increase opportunities for historically underrepresented graduate students.
