Mauricio Rodriguez Honored by American Real Estate Society

Mauricio “Mo” Rodriguez, professor and chair of the Department of Finance, was honored for his contributions to the real estate discipline.

Mo RodriguezMauricio “Mo” Rodriguez was honored by the American Real Estate Society as the 2019 recipient of the Richard Ratcliff Award.

Rodriguez was chosen for significant innovative research that enriches the real estate discipline, introduces a new paradigm, and pushes the envelope of real estate knowledge.

Rodriguez is the Theodore and Beulah Beasley Faculty Fellow in Finance. He teaches corporate decision making, investments and real estate topics, and has been honored with several teaching and research awards.

His research has been published in Financial Management, Journal of Banking and Finance, Financial Analysts Journal, Journal of Real Estate Economics, Journal of Real Estate Research, Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management and Journal of Real Estate Literature.

He serves on the editorial board of several journals and is editor of Journal of Real Estate Literature.

Rodriguez holds a BBA from George Washington University, MBA from American University and PhD from University of Connecticut.
